I recently received some headbands from Infinity Headbands. Let me tell you – I am in LOVE! They are beautiful but also so unique and practical. They have a line of pretty and chic headbands (which I’ll be showing you some ways to style today) but they also have a great line of designs for younger girls as well. They really do offer something for everyone!
The thing that makes me love Infinity Headbands more than any other headband that I’ve ever tried is in their unique design. They headbands are really headband covers. If a traditional plastic headband fits your head shape best, then put the cover on that. If you prefer to have the elastic headband that wraps entirely around your head, then you use the handy elastic option. Annnnd – the elastic can be attached AFTER you put it on. The beauty of this is that it allows you to do so much more with your hair, because you don’t need to first put the headband around your neck then try to slide it up over your style. You simply lay the Infinity Headband on top of your style and then join the elastic to the other side of the headband. So easy peasy, and genius!
Since I absolutely love how versatile these headbands are and how easy they are to add to any hairstyle, I’m going to share with you 7 of my favorite ways to wear an Infinity Headband. The headband I’m wearing is from Infinity Headband’s Chic Boutique Headband Covers line. If you decide to pick one up for yourself (which you will want to do!) then be sure to use coupon code “LORI” to receive 10% off your order.
Let’s get to the 7 ways to wear a headband!
1. Simple Top Knot or Messy Bun
I wear a messy bun quite often – I think many moms and just women and general can relate! Especially on days when I’m not headed out and about (which is my daily norm here), I throw my hair up into a messy bun to keep it out of the way. I love how easy it is to dress up my daily ‘do now that I can add an Infinity Headband to it.
Step 1. Style your hair as you normally would.
Step 2. Lay your Infinity Headband across the head.
Step 3. Wrap the Infinity Headband around the head and secure.
It’s so easy to do! You can follow these easy steps with almost any hairstyle.
2. Hair Down (with or without curls)
I added just a little bit of lose waves using a curling iron to create this look. You could leave it straight or add more curls to dress it up even more. Leave some loose hair out by the face to soften this hairstyle. This is a very versatile style and could easily be worn casual or dressed up!
3. Low Romantic Ponytail
To create this low romantic ponytail, I simply did my hair down as you saw in the last hairstyle. Then I made sure to leave out a couple of little sections of hair to frame my face and pulled the rest of the hair back into a low ponytail. As a final finishing touch, I took a small section of hair from the bottom of my ponytail and wrapped it around the hair elastic to hide it, then bobby pinned it underneath. This small detail really helps to give you a more polished look!
4. Simple High Ponytail
A simple ponytail is one of my go-to hairstyles. I love how adding the headband to it makes me feel so much more put together and ready for the day! I took a quick minute to wrap a section of hair around my ponytail elastic for an even more polished look.
5. Rope Twist Headband Updo
I have a tutorial for this Rope Twist Headband Updo here. I love how easy this hairstyle is to do, while looking so pretty! It’s perfect for date night, work or lunch with friends! I think you could even wear it to a wedding or a party. It’s really a versatile style that works well on all ages.
6. Side Dutch Braid
I love this Dutch braid for keeping my hair out of the way on busy days! I have a tutorial for a Dutch braid here, thought I just show how to do it straight down the back of the head (which would look cute with a headband too!). To see a similar tutorial for the style I’m wearing above, you can check out this DIY Side Dutch Braid tutorial by Cute Girls Hairstyles. The only difference between my style here and that tutorial is that I made sure that my braid was sitting back a few inches from my face instead of being up against my face. Once the braid is done, just add your Infinity Headband for a cute look!
7. Milkmaid Braids
These milkmaid braids are SO easy to do! You can learn how to do them here. While it’s not a very formal hairstyle, it is adorable for running errands or just hanging out!
I hope that this post gives you some great ideas on how you can wear a headband! I think that headbands are definitely not just for little girls, but they are a great way for teens, adults and moms like me to dress up any easy hairstyle.
